Heaven: God’s Plan for Eternal Life

Eternal life is something you can know today.
The Bible Says:
1 John 5:11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
1 John 5:12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

Eternal life is not something we can achieve through our efforts(good deeds, baptisms, church memberships, etc…).
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Ephesians 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Gifts are received not earned. God’s word says that if it were our works that gave us the gift of eternal life we could boast about it.
Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

Eternal life is not achieved by adhering to the law.
Romans 3:19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
Romans 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
Galatians 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
If the truth were to be known, no man could ever keep every point of the law.   The law was given to help us understand that we are sinners. If we truly examined ourselves according to just the 10 commandments we would understand that we have broken at least one of them sometime in our lives.

Every man, woman, boy, and girl is a sinner.
Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
Romans 3:11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
Romans 3:12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

Sin Separates Mankind from God.
Romans 5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
Romans 5:20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
Romans 5:21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
Sin leads to death. Adam’s sin has passed to all men. Because of this sin always has a price that must be paid. We understand that first comes Physical death, and ultimately for some a spiritual death.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
The Bible speaks of a future day when people will stand before God at the Great Judgment. This is a judgment reserved for those who never understand God’s provision of eternal life.   All of these people will be separated from God in a place called the Lake of Fire for eternity. This is what happens to man if they have to pay for their sins.
Revelation 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Revelation 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
Revelation 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

God Has Provided a Way to be Delivered From the Payment of Sin Through His Son.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
John 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
John 14:4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
John 14:5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Acts 4:10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
Acts 4:11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.
Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Romans 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
Romans 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
Romans 3:26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
To be “justified” means to be made right in the sight of God. A “propitiation” is a satisfaction for sin. Notice that the Bible says we are “justified” by God’s “grace” or His unmerited favor. The word “redemption” means payment. The only thing that could satisfy God’s divine justice in dealing with man’s sin was Jesus’ sacrifice. So in essence God sent Jesus to be the payment for the sins of mankind so that we could be made right in His sight-so that we could stand righteous. This righteousness is received by faith in Jesus Christ as our payment for Sins.

You can be Saved from your sin, and have eternal life today.
John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
We must receive the truth about Jesus being the payment for our sins. We must believe on His name and who Jesus was. Then we can become a child of God.

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Romans 10:11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

Romans 10:12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

We must make this personal confessing with our mouth that Jesus is Lord(He is the only one who can save), and also we must believe that God raised him from the dead. We must believe sincerely with our heart.   We must call upon God asking Him to receive Jesus as our Lord and the payment for our sins.

If you have not already done so, pray and receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior now.

You cannot save yourself.

We are all sinners

Sin Separates Man from God.

God provided Jesus to be the Payment for our sins.

We must call upon Him, Receiving the truth about the way to Heaven being through Jesus. We must believe it by faith. Then we will become a child of God.
